I left home one year ago with a backpack and a dream. I came back with a different brain.
Here is My Journey of Kiran: Lessons Learned in One Year of Travel.
1. Things Go Wrong (And It’s Okay)
I missed flights. I got food poisoning. I lost my wallet. I survived. You are more resilient than you think. The problem is never as big as your fear of the problem.
2. People Are Kind
The news tells you to be afraid. Reality tells you that strangers will help you carry your bag, give you directions, and invite you for tea. 99% of humans are good.
3. Less is More
I lived out of a 40L bag. I didn’t miss my clothes. I didn’t miss my gadgets. I realized that happiness comes from freedom, not accumulation.
Kiran’s Take: Just Go
The hardest part of travel is buying the ticket.
Once you are on the plane, the hard part is over. Don’t wait for the “perfect time.” It doesn’t exist. Go now.
Conclusion
Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer. I am the richest man alive.
